Creating a New Active Directory Group in Active Directory

In this blog, we are going to see how to create a new active directory group in Active Directory

To open an Active Directory in your system, follow STEP 1 and STEP 2 from my previous blog.

STEP 3:

Expand the domain on the left side of the Active Directory main page. The list of drop downed list is called sub-domains. Select one of the sub-domains from the domains list.

STEP 4:

After selecting of the targeted sub-domain list. you will see a similar page attached below. The below is ready an existing group since it contains some sensitive data. I am hiding it.

Right Click on the mouse -> New -> Group

STEP 5:

You see a Dialog Box, asking you to mention your

Group Name, Description of the Group, and Group Type.

Once Completed click Ok.

Your new group is being created.
